# Register DAO UID

DAO UID belongs to the historical DAO channel-contract model. It is not a SAT20 root account, wallet ID, referrer ID, or universal on-chain identity. The current PWA has no standalone public DAO UID registration flow.

Registration becomes meaningful only when a specific DAO publishes its contract, uniqueness rules, fees, permissions, privacy boundary, and query entry. Do not send assets to an unknown contract or address merely to obtain a UID.
